Test on driveshaft

We have made a driveshaft 114 mm long and with a diameter of 52 mm. In collaboration with the Bretagne Sud University and the Search Institute of Dupuy de Lôme, we take the opportunity to test its torsion resistance, using a 2000 Nm test bench.

The result ? The driveshaft broke with a torsion force of 800 Nm, with a 45° angle.
